Custom roles are available on Business and Enterprise plans (plus the legacy Team plan).
You can create custom roles for managing access permissions to your different apps. To create a custom role:
Open Settings - Users & Permissions;
On the Roles tab, click Add Custom Role;
Give your new role a meaningful name and set permissions level to the apps and data sources that the users with that role should have access to.
To save the role, click Create Role.
If required, you can modify the role or remove it, when it's no longer necessary. Once the role is created, you can assign it to your invited users. You can assign several roles to a user if required.
When required, you can assign a user with permissions to access only a certain environment. For example, if you have a tester who only needs access to the staging environment. To grant separate permissions for certain environment access, follow these steps:
Open Settings - Users & Permissions;
On the Roles tab, click Add Custom Role;
Give your new role a meaningful name and set permissions level to the environments and apps the user should have access to.
To save the role, click Create Role.
When the user logs into UI Bakery, they will only see the allowed environment, and upon hover over the disabled environments, they will get a notice:
